Where are they now?

Dustin Higby (2024- Mechanical Engineering) is working in the Capital Engineering department at Domtar. He plans to pursue a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Taehlor Lafferty (2024- Mechanical Engineering) was the first female Mechanical Engineering graduate from A&M-Texarkana and is a [JOB] at [Company]

Caitlyn Smith (2024- Psychology/Biology)

Logan Buck (2023- Biology) is starting UT-Tyler Medical School in the Fall of 2024

Ariell Hopkins (2022-Biology)- Ariell Hopkins has been accepted to UT Houston McGovern medical school.

Beatriz Van Martins (2022- Biology) started a PhD program in Botany in 2022 at the University of Oklahoma.

Anil Pournouri (2022- Biology): Anil received her BS in Biology with honors in May of 2022. Anil has been accepted to TCOM (Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine) in Fort Worth, Texas.

Linda "Grace" James (2022- Biology) is pursuing a Masters degree in Biological Sciences at Texas A&M University-Commerce.

Jacqueline Russell (2022- Psychology) is pursuing a Masters degree in Counseling at Texas A&M University-Texarkana.

Dr. Alisa Robinson Sandoval, DDM (2017- Biology) is an attending Veterinarian at Westridge Animal Hospital in Texarkana, Texas

Brooklyn Jones (20- History/Mass Communication)

Ramon Hernandez (2021- Biology) was accepted into the Physicians Assistant program at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, TX in 2023.

Dylan Yowell (2020- Biology) started a doctorate of pharmacy program the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.

Dr. Lara Jolley Rains (2018- Biology) received her PharmD from UAMS School of Pharmacy in 2022. She has accepted a position as Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at UAMS College of Pharmacy, starting Fall 2024.

Matthew Neese (2015- History) is a State Trooper with for the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Roya Morakabian (2019- Biology) was accepted to Wright State University Medical School in 2022.

Dr. Jessie Owens-Oviedo (2018- Biology) received a Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida in 2023. She is a Family Medicine Resident at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Dr. Eddie Oviedo (2019- Biology) received a Masters degree in Medical Science and a Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. He is currently a Family Medicine Resident at the Laredo Medical Center.

Dr. Ailin Pournouri (2015- Biology) received her medical degree (DO) from Kansas City University in 2021 and entered into a residency program in internal medicine at Largo Hospital's Internal Medicine Residency Program in in Largo, Florida, in the same year.

Parker Musselwhite (2021- Nursing) is pursing a Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Arkansas State University.
