What Is Navigate?
Navigate is A&M-Texarkana’s student success and early alert platform. It connects students to tutors, advisors, mentors, faculty, and staff through a coordinated care network—helping the university proactively support student success.
Key Features
Admin Drops- Admin drop surveys are required at the start of each semester.
- Surveys are sent to your faculty email and do not require login to access.
Progress Reports
- Help mentors, tutors, advisors, and staff identify students needing support before midterms and finals.
- Progress reports are optional for faculty but essential for student success.
Issue Alerts & Referrals
- Refer students to tutoring, advising, career development, and more.
- Issue Alerts to connect students with the right support at the right time.
- Set office hours and faculty advising times.
- Students schedule appointments directly through Navigate.
- Appointments sync automatically with Outlook.
Communication Tools
- Email, text, or schedule appointments with students.

Navigate has a separate student mobile & desktop app, designed to simplify the college experience and help students navigate the complex world of higher-ed. Navigate helps students:

Is detailed faculty training available?
Self-guided walkthroughs designed for faculty can be found in the link below (login with your faculty credentials). If you wish to setup in-person or virtual training, contact us at navigate@tamut.edu.
Am I required to take attendance in Navigate?
No. Most faculty prefer taking daily attendance in Canvas. Drop & Progress Surveys are how we track & intervene on attendance issues, so please fill those out!
