TAMUT Wellness is Texas A&M-Texarkana's Wellness Program. Texas A&M-Texarkana cares about its employees and their mental and physical health. TAMUT Wellness’s goal is to support you in your wellness through providing knowledge, support, and opportunities to help you become a Healthy You, a Better You.

Wellness Release Time
Texas A&M University-Texarkana (A&M-Texarkana) Wellness Release Time Program is designed to enhance the well-being of employees. It is a voluntary program designed to encourage employees to participate in physical fitness activities and wellness education opportunities.
These voluntary programs are designed to improve overall well-being, encourage employees to adopt healthy behaviors and positive lifestyles, improve job performance, increase engagement and work satisfaction and reduce health care expenditures and insurance premiums.
The procedure outlines the parameters of the Wellness Release Time Program and describes the application and monitoring process.
Please fill out the form below for Wellness Release Time Program approval.
Utilizing the Wellness Release allows employee's to have a portion of the Rec Center fee to be covered. For more information, contact HR or Rec Sports.
Rec/Student Center Payroll Deduction
As part of Wellness, we have worked with Recreational Sports and Payroll to allow employees to have the recreational fee pulled from their payroll instead of having to pay lump sum at the beginning of every semester. Complete the first page and turn into payroll@tamut.edu. Second page is some FAQs we have anticipated.
Pinkerton Fitness Center
As a Texas A&M-Texarkana employee, you and your family can use the Texarkana College Pinkerton Fitness Center free of charge. All you need to do is bring your staff/faculty ID with you!
Well OnTarget
Well OnTarget is a program that’s designed to give you the support you need to make healthy choices. With Well onTarget, you have access to a convenient, secure Website with personalized tools and resources.

Airrosti is now just a $30 copay
Airrosti providers are experts at diagnosing and rapidly resolving the source of your injury.
Each patient receives one full hour of assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and education designed to eliminate the pain associated with many common conditions allowing you to quickly and safely return to activity - usually within 3 visits (based on patient-reported outcomes).

Ergonomics is the science of designing your workspace to fit you, not forcing you to fit your workspace. Think about your own work area: Do you need a standing desk? Maybe you need to adjust the objects around you?
